John,
I received the sPOD on time. I just got to install it tonight. This whole systems fit and finish is second to none. Your product installed so easy, I did not have to adjust, bend or grind anything it fit perfect right out of the box. Speaking of the box, the packaging was great as to prevent damage to anything. I didn't even have to drop the top to install this, I used a 1/4" ratcheting wrench and phillips apex to handle the screws for the switch panel. If you develop anything else for the Jeeps let me know, your work is superb. I can't say it enough this is the best designed, thought out and built product I have ever installed on any of my 8 vehicles I have built. I will be showing this to everyone I wheel with. Thank you very much for an awesome product.
PS- The hardest part of the install was getting the factory grommet back into the hole on the fire wall.

One Happy and future customer
John, first of all, I can’t thank you enough for sending the replacement bracket by FedEx. Your Customer Support is A1. I got the package today, and completed the installation. It looks great! This time I was sooo careful not to over-tighten the nuts! Thank you for sending the part overnight. We are leaving on Monday, and with the upcoming holidays, this was the one thing I needed to get it done. Words really can’t do justice to your product.
If I had to choose one word, I would say Unbelievable! This kit is smooth, so well thought out, so clean, and impressive. Everything from the packaging, instructions, and product was simply impressive. The fit and finish, using aircraft anodized aluminum is flawless. The installation was a snap, the parts fit together perfectly and look great. But what really impressed me is the quality of workmanship. Its visible everywhere, from the circuit boards, wiring harnesses, packaging, etc. I don’t think you can do any better. Great Job!!! Let me know when you develop something else!
P.S. Thanks for the follow-up phone call. Its not often you can even reach a support center for some other products. In this case, you called me as a followup to see if everything arrived and if I had any problems. Wow! If anybody is ever on the fence about purchasing your products, give them my name. Its worth a few more dollars to get a product that looks and works great, and comes with this kind of support!
John- you have produced a true masterpiece. My S-pod and Source arrived just in time for me to fire up the pellet stove in the garage Saturday morning for what I think is the very best modification I have ever done to my Jeep. Outstanding packaging, fabulous instructions, and a rock solid product. Install went smooth as silk. Wired up my front lights and hood lights. Removed one full garbage bag of old wires and relays. Just have to wait until spring to wire up my lights on my safari cage, 4 front, 2 back. (I remove the cage for the winter). Air compressor going in this weekend coming up. I am certain once my brother in law sees this he will be ordering. I will send you some pics early spring when the soft top and cage goes back on. Again, thank you for such a great product and truly extraordinary customer service. Keep me posted on anything new you come out with. You have a customer for life.

Hi John, just wanted to let you know that I received my sPod in excellent condition. I installed it 2 weeks ago and had no problems at all. Directions were very clear (unlike other directions from aftermarket suppliers) Rolling Eyes . Your product is very well thought out and craftmanship is an A+. I hooked up my backup lights to the sPod and it works flawless. Can't wait till I get my front lights in to hook up to the sPod.
Thanks for the quality product
Matt
Normally I do a complete install before showing off anything. Honestly I was simply amazed at the level of detail
and thought that went into this! I just had to share it. Im more or less excited because if its this nice in pieces.
Then its going to look great installed.

" If you want good craftsmanship, if you want attention to detail, if you want at least OEM appearance, if you want durability, if you want ease if installation, if you want, like, or need total quality, then this is it. Seriously! Look no further for your switch needs. It took me a total of 40 minutes from laying out the components to closing the hood on the complete installation of the sPOD setup. All I have to do now is to hook up what ever I want to the relays and flip a switch. That's it! This is a very well though out and designed component. There is nothing better out there."
I mean every word of it. I am a firm believer in "word of mouth" advertising (both the good and the bad) and yours definitely deserves lots
of it. I see you posted Doug's writeup on your site. That's a great one. I believe that's the one I came across when I was going to do mine then decided he had one better than I could do.
I wish I knew what I was going to use all those switches for. Now I plan on switching LED rock lights, rear offroad/backup lights, front offroad lights, 1000w inverter for tools/appliances, and an electric engine fan cut off (for water crossings). That's only 5 of 6 so time will see what I come up with.
Thanks again John. Keep me in the loop for anything new you come up with.

Hello,
Yes I have it. I received it at lunch time on Monday. It was wonderfully package and all in one piece. I wanted to say the instructions were awesome and the personal letter was a great touch. I'm installing it on my Rubi with an additional truck load of goodies.. I wanted to also say that as I sat there last night looking at all the components I couldn't help but say "why didn't I think of this". Its just one of those products. I also thought as a consumer it is going to make future installs and diagnoses of problems a breeze. This is one great product. Keep up the great work. Talk soon,
Best Regards,

John spent many hours devising a custom sPOD for our right hand drive Wrangler. In September 2006, we shipped two British Jeeps 3,500 miles back to the USA. Then, we embarked on a 2,200 mile roadtrip across the U.S. John was good enough to meet us at the Pomona Off-Road Expo, show us around, and talk Jeeps for a few hours. He's a class act.

Hey John, Steve from Va here. Well I installed "the source" a couple weeks ago and I didn't think it was possible, but it was even easier to install than the sPOD switch panel/wining harness. The material and craftsmanship is crazy good. After I saw where it was supposed to be placed, I was actually expecting a little rattling, but I've heard NONE. I don't have anything hooked up to it yet. But so far my plans are for 2 windshield bracket long ranges, and OBA for some rancho shocks. I do know it works though due to my LED's lighting up. Thanks again for all the info. So far you guys have been great (and you're across the country). You guys have the best customer support I've ever seen and I wish you guys the best of luck. Please let me know if you come out with any other top-notch products or are visiting us on the east coast. I know more of us would like to see you guys at some shows. Take care man.

Hey John,
John,
I received your sPOD kit today -- absolutely looks stellar! I just want to
thank you for taking the time to still make some first-class products that
don't look like crap. I am quite anxious to get this all installed and will
get you some before/after pics of the rig.
Kind of makes me feel like a first date all over again; one hot looking bad
girlfriend in that box of yours! Oops the wife's looking over my shoulder --
there goes another week of sleeping in the garage.
Best regards,
Kim
I am blown away by the quality of the work and materials of the sPOD and the way it all goes together. This is the fourth Search and Rescue (SAR) Car I have built the past 20 years (85 Jeep CJ-7, 95 Pathfinder, 95 Trooper and the Rubicon) and I want to tell you that in the past I have had to build my own switch panels from scratch and this is really great, if your product was any better I couldn't stand it. The switch panel is great, the wiring harness is superb and the terminal block is a stroke of genius.

I just sent my switches to John for fit/finish/configuration, harness setup. I know people sometimes have a beef about pricing, but I’ve seen a lot of hack jobs out there. So, I’m willing to lay down a few more $, and have my mods look clean and professional .I want my rig to look good, and be built with quality. John: Thanks for a great idea and subsequent product. I had no idea how I was going to mount all my switches until I saw this post leading me to sPODs.

What I had been thinking about was a way to group switches for additional lighting together in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner without punching more holes in the dashboard. The place that seemed like a great location was that empty space on the windshield header between the sun visors. There is plenty of horizontal space but I wasn't’t sure if the stock plastic piece was adequately deep enough to mount switches and run a wiring harness.
Then, there on page 20 of FOUR WHEELER, was exactly what I had been looking for, the sPOD for Jeep Wranglers described as “this new switch panel from JC Fab lets ’97-to-current Jeep Wrangler owners add up to seven additional power circuits to the dead zone between the factory sun visors.”
Within just a couple of days after our phone call I received my package from UPS. I’ve got to say that I was impressed right off the bat by the concern and thoroughness of the packaging. No loose parts banging around, but every component (even the instruction sheets) carefully sealed in its own heavy-weight plastic bag and then everything arranged with plenty of bubble-wrap to ensure an undamaged delivery. The switch panel, header assembly and terminal block cover are powder coated aluminum. All other hardware is military grade quality. Fit and finish is impeccable and the workmanship is outstanding. After unwrapping and inspecting everything, this is what my kit consisted of:
I am completely satisfied with the sPOD and would heartily recommend this option for anyone looking for a better way to mount switches.

I received the sPOD and I think it is absolutely great! It is very well made. I fully expect that it will sell well, when people have a chance to hear about it. The sPOD arrived the day before I left for Ontario (I'm here for a week visiting my kids at university). I did spend a few minutes installing the sPod in my Rubicon, and then showed it to my 87-year old grandmother while she was in the Jeep. Even she thought it looked good.
I am not a gear head (I'm a pathologist -- taking apart a human body is easy but I have limited knowledge of mechanical things), yet I had no problem snapping it into place and getting the wiring harness tucked neatly behind the trim along the windshield. I started to populate it with my switches. I have a switch for the Hellroaring dual-battery controller, a switch for the Painless battery disconnect or (I want to be able to shut off my backup battery), and a switch for the KC Hilites rear lights. My gauge arrived while I was away (I am putting in a Nordskog blue-LED digital clock, for the time being).
Thank you for sending the pictures of your terminal block. I really like the look of it. It appears to be nicely done, and if it's made as well as the sPOD, I know that it will be a quality product.

I have one. It is a fantastic product. It is very well made and the fit is awesome. I own the 6 led rocker switch set-up with air gauge kit. It works perfect for me. I just bought this Jeep and paid a pretty penny for it.. and the last thing I wanted to do was drill holes all over the dash to install all my new accesories! Thanks John, great product. I got mine at TDS this year. Good luck.
Mike
I noticed the sPOD was completely made of aluminum folded together with corner gussets fitting like an insanely precise puzzle. Instead of just leaving it like that it was even welded. The pieces were also very nicely powder coated. You can tell a lot of effort goes into one of these. It's hard to justify the price until you've seen it in person. Then you realize just how nice of a product it is. It is hard to justify paying that much simply for a place to put switches but hey, it's not a crappy, bulky, ugly, eyesore of a plastic hump either.
